Who is the Tek Detective?
Hello! The black hole (itch) mac os. I'm Cristy, the Tek Detective.
After over a decade of technical experience as an IT Support Specialist in the corporate world; I decided to open myown virtual detective office to help solve hardware, software, network and database cases puzzling both individuals and small businesses.
Previous to my career in the technology field, I co-owned an investigation business in Minneapolis, MN. My businesspartner Ron and I specialized loss prevention and investigative services for the hospitality industry. Ron was a former Chief of Police for the City of Blaine, MN and a Quantico graduate whotaught me all the tricks of the trade for which I am eternally grateful.
Today, I live in sunny South Florida. I am a Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MSCA) specializing in:spyware, malware and virus removal. Seriously, could I call myself the Tek Detective if I didn't?
I am also proficient with all operating systems (Windows, Mac OS, iOS and Android), database maintenance/repair,networking, hardware/software upgrades, and file back up. I also have extensive experience programming and servicing point-of-sale (POS) systems.
